Given that I have my undergraduate degree in Special Ed and my masters in Counseling, at least half of my practice is made of college students. My ability to form relationships with my students is my strength, and once they feel connected to me, they will usually allow me to work with them to make school and life better all around.

There are three scenarios that usually bring students to me for services:

  1. A failure to succeed academically- (may have had to leave school caused by a variety of reasons)
  2. The need for executive functioning support (especially those with ADHD)
  3. Support while experiencing feelings of anxiety and/or depression symptoms.

Once a referral comes to me, a typical session involves planning, going over grades, discussing how to tackle issues getting in the way of academic success, and homework completion. Students meet with me virtually 1-2 times per week and have access to me on other days through text, email, and phone if need or want to check in with me more than that.
